ESA: Dark Side of the Earth
Opening Date: Thursday, 7th February
The Open Competition call “The Dark Side of the Earth” promotes the development of new downstream applications that exploit existing and/or upcoming space assets during night-time, mainly through the use of visible, and infrared datasets. Funding available is up to 200,000 Euro, 80% funding of the total cost for the proposed feasibility study activity.

Expression of interest: ATI Programme strategic batch: Feb 2024
Deadline: Wednesday, 21st February 2024
The ATI Programme funds industrial research and investment aid for research infrastructures to make the UK civil aerospace sector more competitive.
The ATI programme is co-ordinated and managed by:
the Department for Business and Trade (DBT)
Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI)
the Aerospace Technology Institute (ATI)
Projects must meet the objectives and priorities of the UK Aerospace Technology Strategy, to maintain and grow the UK’s competitive position in civil aerospace.

Remote Monitoring of Sensitive Sites Phase 2: Security & Resilience
Deadline: Tuesday, 5th March 2024
Following on from Phase 1, which oversaw £700k in funding allocated between 10 innovative organisations, this competition will see the NDA make up to £1.5 million of funding available, seeking proposals for a complete autonomous security alarm and interdiction network (ASAIN).

Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA) Open Call for Innovation
Deadline: Friday, 8th March 2024
The Open Call is looking for innovative ideas to improve the defence and security of the UK. Your idea could be a concept, technology or service. It gives bidders the opportunity to present their ideas to defence and security stakeholders, without waiting for a relevant Themed Competition.

UK-Switzerland CR&D Round 2
Deadline: Wednesday, 5th May 2024
UK registered organisations can apply for a share of up to £4 million for innovative projects in all technologies. You must collaborate with at least one Swiss implementation partner applying under the equivalent Swiss Innosuisse programme.
Innovate UK and the Swiss Innovation Authority encourage innovation in, but not limited to, the following technologies:
life sciences
AI
semiconductor applications
quantum

Responsive Mode Call - Exploration Community Development
Deadline: Open Until Further Notice
The UK Space Agency has made funding available for the UK exploration community to participate in, and benefit from, their investments in the ESA Exploration programme, and to prepare for participation in exploration missions with partners beyond ESA.
The UK Space Agency will, subject to budget being available in any given financial year, make available funds to support activities such as:
Community building activities
Establishing networking opportunities
Showcases and/or organisation attendance at appropriate conferences
